Don't leave home without them

The most common conditions for dog-friendly caravan parks in NSW are:

  • Check with each park their terms and conditions
  • Dogs are welcome on application at Manager’s discretion
  • Restrictions of dates i.e. Dogs not permitted during school holidays
  • Dogs are to be kept on a lead at all times
  • Restrictions on where the dogs can stay (cabins, sites etc.)
  • Clean up after your dog

In addition, make sure you pack everything your pet will need for the duration of the trip, as you may not be able to buy the products when travelling or at your destination.

From coastal retreats to serene bush settings, a perfect spot awaits you and your four-legged friend.

Understanding the Yellow Dog Project

The Yellow Dog Project is an initiative to educate the public about dogs that need space. Dogs wearing a yellow ribbon, collar, or vest signal that they may be fearful, in training, or recovering from an injury. By respecting these signals, we can ensure a safer and more comfortable environment for all dogs. This project promotes awareness and understanding, fostering a community where dogs and their owners feel supported.

Why Choose Pet-Friendly Holiday Parks?

Opting for a pet-friendly holiday park means you can enjoy your getaway without leaving your beloved pet behind. These parks offer various amenities tailored for pets, such as leash-free areas, dog washes, and pet-friendly cabins. Additionally, many parks are near dog-friendly beaches and walking trails, allowing your pet to explore and enjoy the surroundings.
