Reflections Wyangala Waters – Holiday Park

The ‘Jewel in the crown of the Central West’, Wyangala Waters is a favourite picnic area and holiday destination. Relax in comfortable accommodation, camp on a powered site or an unpowered site in one of our many camping areas, take a bushwalk or cast a line for some fishing. Great boat ramps for launching the ski boat. Two rivers and the main dam area to water ski, fish and explore.

With a catchment area of 8,300 square kilometres and a dam capacity of 1,217,600 megalitres, the surface area of the dam is two and a half times the size of Sydney Harbour and is a favourite for all water sports.

Lake Wyangala is well-regarded as an excellent inland fishing spot. Catch silver and golden perch (yellow belly), catfish, Murray cod and the renowned brown and rainbow trout. There are many walking trails through the bush or go mountain bike riding. Canoe around the foreshores any time of year.

Throughout all the seasons, Wyangala Waters is great for jet-skiing, pleasure boating, sailing, windsailing, swimming and water skiing and not forgetting the playgrounds, bbq areas, and the room for the kids.

  • Swimming in our pool or in the river.
  • Fish along the banks of the Bellinger River, with bait and tackle available for sale in the shop.
  • Bring your boat, kayak or SUP to launch along the river.

Pet PolicyTo ensure harmony and consideration of all guests, we ask that our Bellinger River Tourist Park Pet Policy is respected at all times.

  • Pets must be kept on a lead (retractable lead locked at no more than 1.5 metres) at all times and either retained by hand by an adult or tied up within your camp site. There is no “off leash area” in the park.
  • Pets are not to be left unattended whilst you go out, they must go out with you.
  • Pet owners are responsible for collection and disposal of their pet’s waste which must be sealed in a bag and disposed of in a rubbish bin. Bags are available for purchase in the office.
  • Pet owners are personally responsible and liable for any and all injuries and/or property damage or losses in relation to any actions relating to their pet.
  • For the enjoyments of all guests, please do not allow your pet to urinate etc on any guests site or property.
  • For health and safety reasons, pets are not permitted in the Amenities Block, Laundry, Camp Kitchen, Community Garden, Pool (including pool area), BBQ area, or near, in or under Villas.
  • If you wish to bath your pet, we have a bath located near the Back Boom Gate. Please feel free to use it.
  • Please DO NOT wash pet bedding in the washing machines, dryers or laundry troughs.
  • The Park Manager reserves the right to request that a pet and its owner leave the park if the pet is deemed noisy, disruptive, aggressive or inhibits the quiet enjoyment of other guests. Any and all monies will be forfeited if such a case arises.
  • We hope that you and your pet have an enjoyable stay at Bellinger River Tourist Park and help us keep this a Pet Friendly Park for future guests.
  • Accessible amenities block with Disabled bathroom access.
