- Sealant for small leaks in tires

- Fire extinguisher

- Flash light with spare batteries
- First aid kit
- Bottled water
- Jumper cables
- Tyre pressure gauge
- Paper / Pen or pencil
- Window scraper for ice (if traveling in cold climates)
- Reflective vest
- Portable radio with spare batteries
- Emergency phone numbers of family and friends
- Insurance information
- Car registration
- Snack food
- Mobile phone
