Saving the Planet One Bollard at a Time
Reflections Holiday Parks Wyangala Waters have made major headway in sustainable investment, with their latest upgrades to the park consisting of new bollards crafted from recyclable materials.
The 36 Bollards have been constructed as part of the park’s recently refurbished Kookaburra Powered camping sites, and were supplied by Replas, who specialise in Recycled Plastic Products. The refurbishment also includes a new retaining wall, the levelling of sites and new turf and powerheads.
Reflections Holiday Parks CEO Steve Edmonds called the refurbishment a major milestone for the holiday parks group, signalling it as the continuation of environmentally conscious capital works projects across all 37 parks.
“These bollards are not only environmentally friendly and far safer for all nearby waterways but will stand the test of time far better than their less sustainable cousins,” Mr Edmonds said.
“Unlike timber, our new Australian Made recycled plastic bollards will not split, rot, crack or require frequent painting. This means that rather than the need to replace them as they weather over time they’ll be in it for the long haul.
