Reflections Mookerawa Waters – Holiday Park

On the south western shore of Lake Burrendong, and just minutes from Stuart Town (famous as Ironbark in the Banjo Paterson Poem), Reflections Mookerawa Waters – Holiday Park is popular year-round with fishing enthusiasts, nature lovers, fossickers, bushwalkers, fishers, campers and picnickers.

Visit in the spring and be rewarded by a spectacular and colourful display of Australian wildflowers. Unique and delicate, the Bluebells, Golden Wattles, Pea Flowers and Bugle Flowers dot the paths and landscape for the delight of those who wander there.

Fishing enthusiasts will enjoy the variety and plentiful catches of fish including Redfin, Catfish, Murray Cod, Silver and Golden Perch. Yabbies’ are easy to catch along the banks and make for delicious meals on the barbecue or open fire.

Explore Mookerawa Creek and the old gold fields for a nugget or two, or explore the bush for wrens, eagles, babblers, honey eaters and many other bird varieties along with kangaroos, wallaroos, wallabies, echidnas, gliders, possums, antechinus and other native animals.

Throughout the spring and summer the park provides a fantastic opportunity for boating, sailing, swimming and water skiing. Families and friends make day trips or camp out to enjoy this magnificent waterway and all it offers. Choose from cabins to rustic campsites and a camp fire (RFS advice permitting).

The kiosk sells ice creams and drinks, Swap ‘n’ Go gas, ice, bait & fishing supplies are also available.

  • Swimming in our pool or in the river.
  • Fish along the banks of the Bellinger River, with bait and tackle available for sale in the shop.
  • Bring your boat, kayak or SUP to launch along the river.

Pet PolicyTo ensure harmony and consideration of all guests, we ask that our Bellinger River Tourist Park Pet Policy is respected at all times.

  • Pets must be kept on a lead (retractable lead locked at no more than 1.5 metres) at all times and either retained by hand by an adult or tied up within your camp site. There is no “off leash area” in the park.
  • Pets are not to be left unattended whilst you go out, they must go out with you.
  • Pet owners are responsible for collection and disposal of their pet’s waste which must be sealed in a bag and disposed of in a rubbish bin. Bags are available for purchase in the office.
  • Pet owners are personally responsible and liable for any and all injuries and/or property damage or losses in relation to any actions relating to their pet.
  • For the enjoyments of all guests, please do not allow your pet to urinate etc on any guests site or property.
  • For health and safety reasons, pets are not permitted in the Amenities Block, Laundry, Camp Kitchen, Community Garden, Pool (including pool area), BBQ area, or near, in or under Villas.
  • If you wish to bath your pet, we have a bath located near the Back Boom Gate. Please feel free to use it.
  • Please DO NOT wash pet bedding in the washing machines, dryers or laundry troughs.
  • The Park Manager reserves the right to request that a pet and its owner leave the park if the pet is deemed noisy, disruptive, aggressive or inhibits the quiet enjoyment of other guests. Any and all monies will be forfeited if such a case arises.
  • We hope that you and your pet have an enjoyable stay at Bellinger River Tourist Park and help us keep this a Pet Friendly Park for future guests.
  • Accessible amenities block with Disabled bathroom access.
