NSW Government announces registration reduction for caravans and camper trailers
The NSW Government has previously announced significant cuts to caravan and camper trailer registration costs in NSW that took effect from 1 November 2018.
Grey nomads, families and adventurers will benefit from a 40 per cent reduction in registering their caravans and camper trailers, following the NSW Government’s decision to ease travel costs for caravanners.
Towed caravans and purpose-built camper trailers will be eligible for the 40 per cent reduction in motor vehicle tax. Registration costs in NSW include an annual fee of $65 plus the motor vehicle tax which is based on the tare weight of the caravan or camper trailer.
